Meet Anita Bueno, Feldenkrais Practitioner®
Anita is a guild-certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and a licensed Landscape Architect.
My life experience has taught me that movement is life, and self-improvement has no boundaries. I love learning new things, being creative, and being outdoors. I am constantly making or fixing things.
I currently teach the Feldenkrais Method® for anyone who wishes to bolster their creativity, improve athletic performance, reduce chronic pain, or is simply interested in finding the best version of themselves. I also design landscape projects including healing gardens, native plant restoration projects, and edible landscapes.
What is Feldenkrais?
The Feldenkrais Method® is a system of learning how you do things and exploring alternative ways of doing them. It has both mental and physical components, bringing awareness to how you think as well as how you move. The lessons use gentle but novel movements to create new connections between your nervous system and your musculature. By exploring new patterns of movement, you begin to adapt and reorganize more efficiently, helping you overcome limitations brought on by stress, misuse, accident, illness or simply from old physical and mental habits. It is a subtle, powerful method of somatic education and self-discovery.
